The task of communicating definitively is a dynamic process, useful and enriching.

Some time ago we had in mind the idea to open a site through Internet directed specially to our educational conscious ones of its fundamental roll in the educative-cognitivos processes and of formation of our human resources.

The pagina of Internet that now is called on to us to present/display to consideration of our university community tries to constitute itself in effective means that fortifies the processes of feedback with the educational estate in the perspective to improve and to optimize the academic and pedagogical processes, and the growth of the institutional life of the UCEBOL according to the principles and objectives that sustain it.

Through this site one will look for to reflect all the activities, plans, projects and initiatives directed to this segment and its entailment with the other active components of our institution.

UNIVERSITY EVALUATION:
INDISPENSABLE INTERDISCIPLINARY TASK

The educative evaluation is without a doubt a fashionable subject. A simplista appreciation, of this phenomenon it can lead to think to us that one treats, simply, of one of the consequences that it has, in educative means, the eficientistas policies and productivistas derivatives of the neoliberal ideology that invades our social means, economic and political. From this consideration some could reject the fashion of the educative evaluation or simply to ignore it.

Nevertheless, although the that outside only origin of the special interest of today by the educative evaluation, the subject deserves to be taken care of because the evaluation is not nor.

The educative education must be conceived, before nothing, like a service to those who participates in the education: the students, the teachers, the investigators, the technicians, the administrators. The evaluation of the learning of each student, it must be translated, in the first place, in useful information for the own student, information about which it knows and of which ignores, of its advances and their deficiencies. The evaluation of the learning, of used means and the programs it must be translated in information to the service of the teacher and the administrators, so that their strengths and their weaknesses can also recognize they.

Finally, single finally, the evaluation must be used for the accreditation and the certification as the knowledge. In effect, the educative institutions and the State have the responsibility to credit and to certify the knowledge.

This function is very useful for the own educative institutions, then on them they can be based for the taking of diverse decisions on the student administration; also they are very useful for the employers and the public in general who looks for the competent service of professionals sufficientlyprepared.

It is necessary to emphasize the positive functions of the evaluation because traditionally, in the university systems, the evaluation of the learning has played a role of direction in the planning of remediables courses, in the subjets that identified deficiencies.

One of the most serious effects of this negative conception of the evaluations goes in the same education of the student: it makes fall its attention to the form pass and to the effort not to learn, it emphasizes the value of the qualification and not the one of the same knowledge; Another pernicious effect of the tradition that prevails in the educative evaluation is that their results are not translated in policies of improvement of the educative service because, in general, the deficiencies and the failures are attributed badly to the performance of the student exclusively (by its deficiency of talent or its lack from application to the study); any other cause of the failure, attributable to the same institution, to the materials of study or the teachers it is not considered.

Since we have indicated, the present impulse to the educative evaluation must be taken advantage of to surpass the limited margins within which it has been exerted, until now, the transcendental task of the critic and the self-criticism of the
institution of superior education.

• Desechar the thought of which before we were readier, because the present bachelors have their deficiencies, as before we had.

• the educational one must transmit knowledge, establishing a participativo and interactive dialogue with the students.

• the new roll of the educational one, he is the one to become a model, that it must be imitated by the student, in its discipline, education and professional ethics.
