HISTORICAL SYNTHESIS

The Assembly of the Presbiterianas Churches made in Korea South the 25 of May of 1982, it named the family of the Dr. Eun Shil Chung like MISSIONARIES in Bolivia, taking place its arrival to the country the 13 of June of 1982. From a principle one of the central objectives of the missionaries it was to integrate the processes of evangelización with the service and the education, articulating the initial levels with the superior education. In that understood the managements are made before the government authorities to obtain the respective legal authorization to put into operation the first races at superior technical level and degree.

The 8 of January of 1990 the national government presided over by the Lic. Jaime Peace Zamora, it dictated the Supreme Resolution No. 207, granting the Legal Function and position of agent to the Christian University of Bolivia, initiating its academic activities in - one first stage with the agronomy races, computer science, English and theology.

Later in date 10 of May of 1991, the Ministerial Resolution is emitted No. 565 that completely authorizes the operation of the Christian University of Bolivia. It was created in order to satisfy the emergent demand of professional formation with our human resources in sciences of the health. In fact it was the first institution of superior education in opening the medicine race in Santa Cruz of the Mountain range, in circumstances that most of our young people had to move to universities of the interior and outside of the country to continue his estudies professionals. In the vision of the main impellers of this work, the necessity existed to create new races to complete the area of sciences of the health, being obtained in one third stage the odontolgy opening, biochemistry and pharmacy, fisioterapia, and mechanical later dental. Parallelly one went developing the creation of other races of humanistic and social sciences.

In fourteen years it has journeyed it by an exciting process of academic and institutional growth connected with the real necessities of our community and the country in the matter of superior education. This evolution has been generated from the planning, the infrastructure, the conception of a genuine educative model, the incorporation of new paradigms within the process education-learning, the student services, the management of the human resources that administer the knowledge, the classrooms the laboratories, the study scenes, currícula, etc.,etc.

Indeed our transit by the change, the understanding and assimilation of the new concepts of the superior education, also they are reflected in the construction of spaces and atmospheres where they are due to develop the interchange of knowledge, the information search, update and direction that accompany the process by integral formation of the students in syntony with the responsibilities of the social order and their contribution to the processes of transformation of our reality.
