Functions
- The investigation constitutes one of the substantial
functions of the Christian University of Bolivia, through which
the pre-selected targets in article 8 of the Organic Statute of
the University are fulfilled
- the nature of the university guarantees the total exercise of
the freedom from investigation to all the academic ones that they
serve its to the institution, in fulfillment of projects, plans
and programs
- the investigation will have as objective to deepen in the knowledge
and will preferredly serve the solution as the problems that exist
in our organization, and to the formation of professionals who
have the capacity to innovate the scientific knowledge.
- the investigation will be developed in the races and research
centers of the university, and it will respond to the institutional
program of investigation and
postdegree.
- the investigation will have to tie closely to teaching and the
extension according to the programs, strategies and policies that
institutionally settle down
- the investigation will have to be fomented and to fortify in
the different levels of the process education-learning from level
degree, and it will be consubstancial part of the postdegree studies
- the aims and objectives of the investigation activities will
be declared in the research programs and will have to be reflected
consequently in the operative and strategic planning.
- By line of investigation will be understood to the set of projects
that take as object of study a problematic one defined not only
taking care of the criterion from the disciplinary field but fundamentally
based on its relevance and impact in the economic context, social
and scientific of the organization.
- To drive the creation of institutional spaces for the investigation
like tie activity organic to teaching.
Political
The policies of the Institute of Investigation will be directed
to normar the investigation activities and will be the following
ones:
- Re-to educate and to reorient the existing investigation based
on the established lines of investigation
- Racionalizar the acquisition of infrastructure resources for
To value and to base the incursion of new line of investigation
- based on the corresponding normatividad and the demand of the
surroundings with the respective readecuación of infrastructure
resources available.
- To promote the presence and recognition of the investigation
activities in the races to guarantee the suitable entailment between
teaching and investigation.
- To use and to optimize the sources of external financing
available for the support to the investigation
